Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the PalliTalk mobile application, the web client at web.pallitalk.app, and the marketing pages at pallitalk.app. By installing or using PalliTalk you agree to these terms in full.
Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content & Abusive Behavior
By using PalliTalk, you explicitly agree that you will not post, transmit, share or otherwise make available any content or engage in any behavior that is:
- Objectionable — content that a reasonable person would find grossly offensive, obscene, or morally reprehensible.
- Abusive or harassing — targeting, intimidating, threatening, bullying, stalking, or persistently contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
- Hateful — content that degrades, dehumanises or incites violence against individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age or any other characteristic.
- Sexually exploitative — any sexual content involving minors (child sexual abuse material, CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualises real people without their explicit consent.
- Illegal — any content or activity that violates applicable local, national or international law, including but not limited to fraud, threats, privacy violations, and distribution of illegal material.
Users who post such content or use the app to abuse, harass or harm others will have their accounts permanently suspended or banned. We reserve the right to remove offending content and terminate accounts without prior notice when this policy is violated.
Reporting & Blocking
These rules apply to PalliTalk and to Blogit, including blog posts, comments and profiles. Every user must accept these terms before using the app. We provide tools inside the app to report objectionable content or abusive behavior and to block users who harass you.
How to Report
Posts and comments (Blogit): open the “…” menu on a post or comment and choose Report. Messages and profiles (PalliTalk): tap and hold a message, or use the three-dot menu on a profile. Select a reason and optionally add a description. Reports are pseudonymous — the reported user is not told who reported them.
How to Block or Hide
Choose Block from the author's post or comment menu, or from a profile or conversation. Blocked users cannot message you or see your profile. You can manage your block list from Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users. You can also use Hide post to remove a post from your feed.
Review and Action
Every report is reviewed by a human. We review reports within 24 hours; content that breaks these terms is removed and the account that posted it is banned. In cases of imminent risk or illegal material (especially CSAM), we act immediately and comply with all applicable legal obligations, including mandatory reporting to the relevant authorities.
To report a problem outside the in-app tools, or to appeal a decision, contact us at [email protected] (also reachable from Settings → Contact us) with the subject line “Appeal — [your username]”.
Acceptance of Terms
By installing, registering for, or otherwise using PalliTalk or our websites, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (which also serve as the End User License Agreement / EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PalliTalk. By creating an account you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement. Users below the applicable age are not permitted to create an account. If we learn a user is underage, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete registration information.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Not create more than one account per person, and not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, messages, media and associated data from our servers.
Acceptable Use
In addition to the Zero Tolerance policy above, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any commercial solicitation, spam, or unsolicited bulk messaging.
- Impersonate any person, organisation or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app, servers or related infrastructure.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the app.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or their underlying infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the app except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the app to distribute malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm or interfere with systems or data.
Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms — in particular the Zero Tolerance policy. You may also terminate your use of the app at any time by deleting your account. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the Zero Tolerance clause, Intellectual Property, and Disclaimer sections) shall survive.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the app will meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Henri GIL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, or any other harm arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These terms are governed by French law. Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted first to amicable mediation; failing that, the competent French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify you via an in-app message for material changes. Your continued use of the app after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to a change, you should stop using the app and delete your account.
